How to repair your printer error?

One of our company’s customers emails us, and asks how to fix a 0×00000643 error with printer installation. The content of email as follows:

I am running Windows Vista and am trying to install a wireless printer. I get the error 0×00000643. I went to the windows support center and performed all of the work around that it suggested. The WSD port was removed, but every time I try previously had this printer installed so it worked before. Do you have any ideas to solve my problem?


After some email communication, I get the following information: his printer model is HP 6500A and the complete error message is 0×00000643 errors. I provide my suggestions to him and fix his problem completely. Here I will share the solutions.

Solution one
Mostly, the printer problem can be caused by the drivers on your computer. We know that, most printers require proper driver software to work smoothly. Outdated, or corrupted printer drivers can disrupt the proper communication between the computer and the printer and then cause this printer problem. Solution two

Reboot the computer 3 times (This is to remove all the installed components and unregister all at the same time.)

Turn on the Printer and Restart the computer.
Solution three
If the above two methods do not help, you should check whether your registry is clean without errors. We know that all applications installed on the computer will read required entries in the registry every time it starts, which is the same to the printer. When there are errors in the registry, your printer application will fail to recall the needed files. But you should be careful enough when editing registry entries of printer spooler as you can harm your system once a needed file is mis-deleted.
